Carl Crawford Rehab Moves To Triple-A

According to Dylan Hernandez of the Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Carl Crawford is taking his rehab to Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Crawford has been rehabbing from a oblique injury that he suffered earlier in the year.  According to Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register Crawford struggled in his last rehab game in single-A.

It is unknown when Crawford will be available for the senior circuit. The Dodgers already have many of their positions set in the outfield with Andre Ethier, Joc Pederson, and Yasiel Puig.

It will be interesting to see how the Dodgers try to include Crawford in the lineup when he is ready. Ethier made it clear over the offseason that he didn’t appreciate not being in the lineup everyday and that was what limited his production on the field.

The Dodgers are also looking for some starting pitching help.If Crawford starts to show signs that he can stay healthy, maybe the Dodgers will try to move Either and a prospect to go after a  big name pitcher.

As more information surfaces about Crawford we will keep you up to date.
