Lakers Struggle In DeAndre Jordan Meeting

According to Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated the Los Angeles Lakers did not impress free agent center DeAndre Jordan in their meeting Wednesday night.
Lakers/Jordan meeting may have been hurt by its late start. Both sides seemed tired after a long day, per sources briefed on the meeting.

Mannix did say that Jordan felt that the Lakers presentation was “very professional.”

The Lakers had a rough first day of free agency as Kevin Love committed to stay with the Cleveland Cavaliers and reports are surfacing that LaMarcus Aldridge is leaning toward signing with the San Antonio Spurs. Mannix reported that it is believed to be a two team race for the surfaces of Jordan.

Ramona Shelburne of ESPN.com reported that Clipper executives are growing nervous that Jordan may leave.
