David Aldridge of NBA.com reported some of the details of the contract.
Pierce deal is at the mini-mid level for taxpaying teams, per sources. Two years beginning at $3.3, with option for third year.

This deal reunites Paul Pierce and Doc Rivers together who were able to win the 2008 NBA championship. Pierce will provide stability at the small forward position and allows Lance Stephenson to come off the bench.
Many experts figured Pierce would entertain the Clippers but ultimately return to Washington. Pierce is from Los Angeles and will most likely finish his storied career in a Clipper uniform.
Now the Clippers will wait to hear the decision of DeAndre Jordan. If Jordan returns the Clippers are new and improved, led by Chris Paul and Blake Griffin, and have a legitimate shot at the title.
