According to Pedro Moura of the Orange County Register the Los Angeles Angels have optioned third baseman Kyle Kubitza to Triple-A.
The Angels have sent down third baseman Kyle Kubitza to Triple-A. He was at the plate when the walk-off wild pitch occurred.

Kubitza has struggled to hit the ball during the time he’s been up. In his last 11 games he is hitting just .214. Alden Gonzalez of MLB.com reported that Kubitza is thriving on the defensive end of the diamond.
Couple of people have told me that the best arm in the #Angels‘ infield now belongs to Kyle Kubitza. Yes, better than Taylor Featherston‘s.

Kubitza is hoping to go down to Triple-A to get some more at-bats and come back later on this season ready to play.
We will continue to track Kubitza’s progress and he develops to potentially the everyday third baseman.
