Crawford is currently on the 60-day disabled list and hasn’t been able to do any baseball related activities until yesterday.
Dylan Hernandez of the Los Angeles Times also reported the news.

CBSSports.com writes the following on Crawford:
“For the first time since landing on the disabled list with an oblique strain, Dodgers outfielder Carl Crawford has started running, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Crawford has been out of action since the end of April, and had not resumed any baseball-related activities until Tuesday. There is currently no timetable for Crawford to return to the Dodgers’ lineup.”
It’s a good sign to hear of Crawford’s progression. He has only played in 15 games this season before landing on the disabled list. The Dodgers recently welcomed back fellow outfielder Yasiel Puig with great success and are hoping for the same result with Crawford.
As more information surfaces with Crawford’s progression we will keep you updated.
