Chargers To Retire LaDainian Tomlinson Jersey

According to Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune the San Diego Chargers will retire running back LaDainian Tomlinson jersey this season.

Circle the date: Chargers to retire LaDainian Tomlinson’s number 21 on Nov. 22 at halftime of home game vs. Chiefs. Sunday Night Football.

Tomlinson was drafted by the Chargers with the 5th pick back in the 2001 NFL draft. He spent 9 of his 11 NFL seasons with the Bolts providing numerous memorable moments.

He rushed for almost 12,5000 yards in a Charger uniform and is known as one of the best running backs in league history.
