Chris Douglas-Roberts of the Los Angeles Clippers has an Achillies injury and could be out for 1-2 weeks according to Arash Markazi of ESPN.com

Douglas-Roberts took to Twitter himself to discuss the matter:

 He went on to say:

Douglas-Roberts spent time in the D-league last season before finding a roster spot on the Charlotte Hornets. He played in 49 games last season, starting in 8 games.

Douglas-Roberts as signed to the Clippers in early September in the hope to bring some added depth to the wing position. The former Memphis Tiger has only played in 4 games this season and is averaging two points per game.

Doc Rivers told ESPN.com this about the situation:

He has had the problem and didn’t really express it to the trainers from what I understand,” Rivers said. “It probably has affected him, but he’s new and he wanted to play and was going through that and didn’t want to say anything and it got to a point where it really started affected him and he really had to say something.”

Clipper Nation wisher CDR a speedy recovery. We all know how much help we need at the wing position.

The Clippers will take on the Bulls tonight in Staples Center for their next game.
