Jose Bautista Drives In 3, Blue Jays Beat Angels 10-6

Jose Bautista went 3-4 including a home run and a double, and the Toronto Blue Jays beat the Los Angeles Angels 10-6. Today’s loss makes it two in a row for the Halos.
For the Angels C.J. Wilson got the start. He struggled surrendering 10 hits in the outing. He pitched 5 innings allowing 10 hits and 4 runs. He did strike out 3 and walk 2 in loss. Wilson falls to 2-3 on the year.
On the other side Todd Redmond got the start. He pitched 4 innings allowing 4 hits and 3 runs. He stuck out 3 and walked 1.
The offense got started in the 2nd inning for the Jays. Ryan Goins reached on an infield single that brought in Chris Colabello. Josh Donaldson followed with a RBI single to left. This brought in Steve Tolleson and gave the Jays a 2-0 lead.
Bautista doubled to left center that brought in Donaldson. Edwin Encarnacion followed with a RBI single to left center and after the 2nd inning the Jay held a 4-0 advantage.
Albert Pujols got the Halos on the board. He hit a solo shot to left field to cut the lead to 4-1. Kole Calhoun scored with on a wild pitch. Chris Iannetta doubled to center and brought in David Freese and at the end of 4 the Angels trailed 4-3.
Freese got back to work in the 6th inning. His solo shot tied the game to 4-4. Johnny Giavotella singled to center to bring in Iannetta to give the Angels a 5-4 lead.
In the 6th inning Russell Martin hit a 2-run single to center. Danny Valencia followed with a 2-run double, and Bautista added a 2-run shot to give the Jays a 10-5 lead.
Chris Iannetta hit a solo shot to left in the 8th inning and the Angels fell to the Blue Jays 10-6.
The Angels will continue their series with the Blue Jays tomorrow night at 6:07 p.m. PST.
