We like to start our day searching the web and reading articles about our beloved LA sports teams. It’s easy to get lost in the depth of the inter web, but luckily for you we have compiled a list of the most interesting and pertinent news stories for your morning reading pleasure. For this edition, let’s dive into the news surrounding the LA Galaxy.
Here is an excerpt from the recap of the Galaxy’s game last week:
“Bruce Arena surprised fans with a bit of a lineup change for the game. Instead of starting Stefan Ishizaki and Juninho, Arena put in Ignacio Maganto and Rafael Garcia. This game would be Maganto’s first MLS start since the LA Galaxy signed him on March 13, 2015. Fans also saw Leonardo return to the lineup after he missed four games because of a quadriceps injury. Unfortunately, both Robbie Keane (groin strain) and Jose Villareal (hamstring injury) remain on the injured list along with Todd Dunivant (bruised knee) and Edson Buddle (calf injury) who have joined them.
For the most part, the game seemed fairly uneventful with neither team gaining the lead. Yet, the LA Galaxy kept possession of the ball for the majority of the game. In the 10th minute, Baggio Husidic made the team’s first attempt on goal—and nearly scored.”

The LA Galaxy have signed Sebastian Lletgan from West Ham according to reports:
“The 22-year-old has been with the West Ham academy since 2009, and made his first and only professional appearance with the first team in January of 2014 in an FA Cup match against Nottingham Forest.
The Galaxy were required to pay New England an undisclosed amount of money – reportedly in the $50,000 range, the minimum required offer under the new CBA – since the Revolution had included Lletget on their discovery list.
Los Angeles has tried in earnest to replace Landon Donovan’s attacking talents in the midfield, to a mostly unsuccessful tune.”
