Game 1 Preview: Los Angeles Clippers @ Rockets

After and A-M-A-Z-I-N-G Game 7 against the San Antonio Spurs, the Los Angeles Clippers will embark on the second round of the playoffs tonight as they take on the Houston Rockets.

The Houston Rockets have been out of play for the past six days, whereas the Clippers have only had a day to recoup. The Rockets will definitely try to take advantage of this tonight by coming out with tons of energy to try to tire the Clips early.

Chris Paul scared Clippers fans around the world when he exited Game 7 early with an apparent hamstring injury. He also scared head coach, Doc Rivers, who said the following about Paul’s chances of playing tonight, as reported by MSN.com:

”My guess right now if I had to guess, I would say no,” Rivers said Saturday. ”But I’m not sure.”

Chris Paul was trying to be positive about the injury after the game on Saturday. He said:

”I’m going to get with our training staff and … I know my grandmother back in North Carolina is praying right now,” Paul said. ”She’s praying, and she’ll let my mom pray over it and all that too, and it will be all right.”

Houston isn’t ready for the Clippers, especially if we play on the road like we did in the last series!

Let’s go Clippers! Be Relentless!!
