We like to start our day searching the web for our beloved LA sports teams. Let’s dive into the news surrounding the Los Angeles Clippers.

Glen Davis‘s playing ability is still unsure. Here is an excerpt of the latest news from the Clippers official website:

“Big Baby” was in major pain as he hobbled off to the side of the court, needing help up and off to the tunnel, where he left in a wheelchair.

“It’s an ankle sprain,” head coach Doc Rivers said Friday. “We’ll find out more tomorrow. We won’t know much today.”

Rivers said if Davis can’t go, the Clippers could turn to Spencer Hawes, Hedo Turkoglu or another smaller lineup. Turkoglu has played in five games and registered 22 minutes this series, while Hawes has played in two games with 11 total minutes.

Davis was one of eight Clippers to play in all six games in the series. He’s averaging 3.2 points and 2.8 rebounds in 12.3 minutes per game in the playoffs.”

Los Angeles Clippers head coach, Doc Rivers, was fined $25,000 for comments made about game officials:

“It was a good call,” Rivers said when asked about the fine on Wednesday after arriving in San Antonio. “It was. It was a great call. I just felt like it needed to be said so I’ll take it.”

The Spurs lead the series 3-2 after Tuesday’s win.

“I don’t complain much,” Rivers said after the game. “I thought we got some really tough calls tonight, some brutal calls. The travel on Blake [Griffin], the goal-tend on Matt [Barnes], which wasn’t a goal-tend; you think about the playoffs and they’re single-possession games. Those possessions, those were crucial. J.J. [Redick]’s foul that got him out, J.J. didn’t touch anyone.”
