According to Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Carlos Frias will start on Friday against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Dodgers have not announced probables for weekend, but the plan is to start Carlos Frias Friday and Scott Baker Saturday.

Frias was called up after the Dodgers announced that Brandon McCarthy was done for the season with a torn UCL. Frias just 25 years old and has made 2 appearances for the Dodgers this season.
