According to Jon Morosi of FOXSports Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Hyun-jin Ryu is at least a month away from returning to the active roster.
Hyun-Jin Ryu (left shoulder impingement) is probably at least one month away from returning to #Dodgers active roster.

With the news that Brandon McCarthy is out for the season with a torn UCL the Dodgers pitching depth has been hurt even more. Morosi reported the Dodgers current pitching rotation.
For now, #Dodgers rotation is Kershaw, Greinke, Anderson, Baker and one of Bolsinger, Lee, Frias, and Wieland.

Scott Baker will get another shot to prove himself this weekend when he gets the chance to start. Ryu is one of the key components of the rotation and the sooner he can return to the lineup the better.
On March 20, we wrote the following:
“Hyun-Jin Ryu had a strong season with the Dodgers last season as he posted a 14-7 record and 3.38 ERA. If the shoulder continues to bother him he may not be ready to go by the time the season starts.
The Dodgers will be relying on Ryu and Zack Greinke to support Clayton Kershaw this season. If Ryu is out an extended period of time free agent signings Brett Anderson to pick up the slack.”
As for now the Dodgers will have to just make due. Go Dodgers Go!
