BREAKING: Brandon McCarthy Out For The Year

According to Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Brandon McCarthy has a torn UCL and has been ruled out for the year.

McCarthy was forced to leave the his last start due to some elbow tightness and it has come to light that in fact he had a torn UCL.
The Los Angeles Dodgers announced the news on their official Twitter account.
Brandon McCarthy is out for the year with a UCL tear, according to Don Mattingly.

McCarthy was 3-0 so far this year despite giving up a season high in home runs. With the injury the Dodgers are even thinner in the starting rotation department.
