Tarik Black injured his right ankle in the fourth quarter of the Lakers 115-100 loss to the Suns last night. Black has been one of the few positive things of the Lakers rough season so far.
They picked him up off of waivers at the end of the calendar year and has made his presence felt. Black had been working his way into solid minutes off the bench for the Lakers.
With the injury Ryan Kelly, Carlos Boozer, and Ed Davis will have to pick up the slack. The Lakers will travel to New Orleans to Wednesday night.
