Anderson has been rehabbing since having back surgery and many people are concerned with his health status. He has not pitched over 100 innings since 2010 which alarms Dodger fans.
He is projected to be the team’s fifth pitcher in the rotation. He spoke to Gurnick about the rehab.
“He rehabbed Randy Johnson from the same surgery, and Johnson won a couple [National League Cy Young Awards], so I just told him to give me the same rehab program,”Anderson said.
He had surgery back in August and the Dodgers are hoping that he has a big year after signing him to a one year 10 million dollar contact.
All sounds good right now for Brett Anderson. Let’s hope that he keep progressing and is ready to go come opening day.
