Last night the Los Angeles Dodgers were able to win the series against the Atlanta Braves. The Tuesday night ESPN showcase was headlined with Braves starter Julio Teheran (4-2, 4.91 ERA, 4.1 IP, 8 ER 1 K) facing reigning National League MVP Clayton Kershaw (3-3, 3.86 ERA, 7.0 IP, 0 ER, 10 K’s)

The offense for both the Braves and the Dodgers was being controlled by both pitchers on the mound. This was until the Dodgers lineup scored six runs in the bottom of the fourth inning. Clayton Kershaw had run support and when he gets it we can see what he’s capable of.

In the bottom of the fifth inning Howie Kendrick hit a single to center field. This would result in the tenth home run for Adrian Gonzalez this season. Gonzalez hit a two-run homer to left center of (386 feet) as the final score here was 8-0.

The Los Angeles Dodgers improved to an MLB best home record of (21-6). The series finale is tonight as Alex Wood (2-2, 3.83 ERA) will take on Zack Greinke (5-1, 1.48 ERA) at 7:10 PM PT

It was an emotional day for fans as Juan Uribe was traded from the Boys in Blue today. The 36 year old has spent a lot of great moments with the club. He was emotional about the exit.
