Los Angeles Clippers Take Over Dallas Mavericks; W 120-100

The Los Angeles Clippers were able to dominate in today’s game, beating the Dallas Mavericks 120-100.
The Clippers were aggressive throughout. Blake Griffin scored 22 points while Chris Paul had 17 points and 13 assists. Jamal Crawford added 19 points, Matt Barnes had 18 points, J.J. Redick 16 points, and DeAndre Jordan had 13 with 15 rebounds.
As for the Dallas Mavericks, Nowitzki racked up 25 points and Monta Ellis had 15 of his 23 in the first half. New Maverick Rajon Rondo was held to two points and eight assists in 27 minutes after going scoreless in the first half.
The Mavericks head coach, Rick Carlisle was ejected in the third following his second technical for arguing a foul on Tyson Chandler.
ESPN.com reports the following:
“The Clippers closed with another run, outscoring Dallas 10-6 to lead 88-72 going into the fourth. They made 5 of 6 free throws and Barnes hit a 3-pointer.
The Clippers’ biggest lead was eight points in the first half, when there were eight ties and six lead changes. They outscored the Mavs 11-3 to end the half leading 56-48. Dallas was limited to one field goal over the final 3:16.”
NBA.com also reported:
“The Clippers shot 52.3 percent in the game and led by as many as 26. The Clippers’ eight-point lead at the half continued to soar after a strong start to the third quarter, as the Clippers turned a 56-48 lead into a 70-50 advantage.
The Clippers have now won five of their last six games.”
The Clippers will take on the Miami Heat tomorrow night.
