Los Angeles Clippers Stay Hot Beat Timberwolves 127-101

The Los Angeles Clippers stayed hot as they beat the Minnesota TimberWolves 127-101. Blake Griffin was named the Western Conference player of the week and continued his strong play tonight. 

Griffin scored 23 points and grabbed 8 rebounds as the Clippers cruised to another victory. J.J. Redick was hot tonight, the Duke product scored 23 points including 4 three pointers.

DeAndre Jordan did his usual damage on the glass tonight. Jordan grabbed 13 rebounds and scored 11 points. Spencer Hawes scored 14 points off the bench as well.

For the Timberwolves they played with a lot of their guys out with injuries. Shabazz Muhammad played well off the bench tonight. He had a double-double as he scored 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.

Robbie Hummel scored 13 points as well in limited minutes. The big struggle for the Twolves was there inability to shoot the ball from distance. They connected on just 2 of 12 attempts from three, 17%.

For the Clippers is was the complete opposite. The Clippers were hot all over the court tonight. They shot 51% from the field, and 44% from the three as they hit 15 bombs.

For the Clippers a big second quarter buried the Wolves by which they could never recover. With the win the Clippers push their winning streak to 5 in a row now.

They will host the Orlando Magic at the Staples Center on Wednesday night.
