Lakers Young Pieces Star In Victory Over Magic

The Los Angeles Lakers young core of Jordan Clarkson, D’Angelo Russell, and Julius Randle starred last night as Los Angeles beat the Orlando Magic 107-98.
After being down six points at halftime Los Angeles used a 39 point third quarter to separate themselves from Orlando.
Victor Oladipo had 26 points and 4 rebounds. Evan Fournier had a strong game with 23 points and four rebounds as well.
Jason Smith started for the injured Nikola Vucic who is dealing with a groin injury. Smith reached double figures with 10 points before fouling out. C.J. Watson reached double figures off the bench with 10 points.
Aaron Gordon scored just 5 points but had a sensational dunk that left fans with their jam dropped.
Russell led the Lakers with 27 points with 3 assists. Clarkson added 24 points including five three pointers. Randle had a double-double with 23 points and 11 rebounds.
Larry Nance Jr. was a bucket shy of a double-double with 8 points and 10 rebounds. Los Angeles outrebounded the Magic 45 to 35 which helped the Lakers out.
Los Angeles will try to make it three in a row when they take on the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday night. Fans can buy tickets to that game here.
