Jarrett Jack hit a game winning jumper to lift the Brooklyn Nets over the Clippers 102-100. The Clippers were coming off an impressive victory over the San Antonio Spurs last game and looked to build off of that but came up short.

These two teams had met earlier this year and that game ended with far less drama than tonight’s ending.

Chris Paul flirted with a triple-double tonight. He scored 20 points to go along with 8 rebounds and 8 assists. DeAndre Jordan had a big game. He scored 22 points and grabbed 20 rebounds but was just 2/12 from the free throw line.

J.J. Redick suffered from back spasms in tonight’s game and played just four minutes. Jamal Crawford scored 18 points off the bench but shot just 7/22 from the field. Blake Griffin chipped in 13 points to go along with 7 assists and 6 rebounds.

For the Nets Brook Lopez had a big game. The subject of trade rumors was able to block out the talks and score 24 points and grab 7 rebounds in the win. Joe Johnson scored 22 points and Deron Williams added 15 points off the bench.

Neither team tonight was able to hit free throws. In fact the Clippers shot better from the three point line than the free throw line. Coaches say free throws and layups win and lose you ball games and tonight was the case.

The Nets knocked down 12 three pointers tonight that was too much for the Clippers to handle.

Up next for the Clippers is LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday night. They will need to move on after tonight’s loss and focus on the next task at hand.
