Dwight Howard Trash Talking With A Fan
- Updated: May 11, 2015
Dwight Howard is frustrated. The Houston Rockets are on the ropes. The Los Angeles Clippers are one win away from their first ever Western Conference Finals and their fans are in full force letting Howard know he’s about to be eliminated early in the playoffs again.
For me it’s simple. Howard is a Coward. As a NBA fanatic there are very few players that I love to see more than Howard. I was born in the Bay Area, my parents born and raised in Southern California so naturally the Hicks household is diehard Laker fans. But my Howard problem is from the Orlando Magic side of me. You see I moved to Orlando when I was 13 and lived there throughout high school until going away to college.
Howard destroyed that Magic team and as bright as a future Orlando has they still are years away from getting back to the Eastern Conference Finals. He leaves Orlando comes to Los Angeles Lakers and lights are too big for him there. Heads to Houston to make this Shaq and Kobe duo with James Harden and I hate to break it to you, it’s not happening anytime soon.
The big difference between Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant is that they thrived on being on the ropes. They lived for these kind of moments. They would trash talk with fans as they were killing their team. Reggie Miller did the same with Spike Lee and the Knicks in Madison Square Garden. You can’t talk trash when you’re getting exposed in the playoffs. It’s just that simple. At the end of the day Dwight is one of the most athletic big in the league. I have no problem saying that. But these post moves that Hakeem Olajuwon was supposed to teach him… where are those?
This article is supposed to show Dwight shooting a breeze with a spectator as the Rockets get embarrassed in game 4. Check it out below.
Focus on the game Dwight, focus on some free throws, focus on not letting Austin Rivers win a ring before you do.
