The Los Angeles Clippers ended their nine game winning streak tonight after a mismatch against the Washington Wizards. The game close at 104-96.

The game was an interesting meeting between John Wall and Chris Paul, and Wall completely took over 10 points and 11 assists. Chris Paul was not himself as he struggled with season-high turnovers.

ESPN.com reports:

“Wall’s impact was greater than his stat line. He turned the game with a blistering sequence late in the first half: an acrobatic assist to Bradley Beal for a 3-pointer, a 3-pointer of his own, a from-behind block of Glen Davis‘ shot in the paint, and a Wall-on-Paul takeaway created when he poked with his left hand and deflected the ball out of bounds off the Clippers point guard’s leg.”

The Wizards went in to the half with the lead and they were determined not to let the Clippers get within eight points. The game went so much in Washington’s favor that the home fans ended the game by giving a romantic serenade to Mr.John Wall. Shouts of “M-V-P” filled the final minute.

This was a tough loss for the Clippers but they will look to get back on track as they take on the Milwaukee Bucks tomorrow.
