The Los Angeles Clippers have cemented a two game win streak to carry into the 2015 New Year. They were able to shut down the New York Knicks and win 99-78.

J.J. Redick proved to be the Clippers fire tonight as he heated things up with a team-high of 20 points. Tonight marked Redick’s his ninth 20-point game of the season and his 15th with the team. It is not a secret that when J.J. is playing well, the team plays better, and good things result from the game. The Clippers are 11-3 on the nights when Redick is hitting 20 plus.

Blake Griffin finished with 13 points and 11 assists for the team and was just three rebounds away from a triple-double. At the half Griffin and Chris Paul were only able to put together 4 points, but they were busy facilitating for the team.

DeAndre Jordan was also able to finish with a double-double, as he shot a perfect 6-of-6 from the floor for 14 points and adding 12 rebounds.

For the Knicks, this loss was their ninth in a row. Carmelo Anthony led the team in points with 19 and had 5 rebounds. Jason Smith led with 10 assists.

The Clippers will play again on January 3rd, as they compete in their first game of the New Year.
