Big Fourth Quarter Dooms Clippers

The Los Angeles Clippers were outscored 37-17 in the final period of tonight’s game and fell to the San Antonio Spurs 108-87. For the Clippers they have lost their last two in a row.
Kawhi Leonard had another strong performance. He led the Spurs in scoring with 20 points, 4 assists and 5 rebounds.
LaMarcus Aldridge chipped in 17 points and 6 rebounds while Danny Green scored 12. Patty Mills and Manu Ginobili reached double figures off the bench with 15 points and 13 respectively.
For the Clippers they got strong efforts out o Chris Paul and DeAndre Jordan. Paul scored 22 points to go along with 8 assists, while Jordan recorded a double-double with 16 points and 14 rebounds.
Jeff Green scored 15 points as he started for Paul Pierce. J.J. Redick reached double figures with 14 points. Los Angeles struggled on the defensive end tonight. San Antonio shot 54% from the field.
The Spurs also outrebounded the Clips 42-27 holding a 12-5 advantage on the offensive glass. The Clippers will have to quickly rebound as they take on the Houston Rockets tomorrow night at 6:30 PST.
